The Squeezebox Boom is another solid entry in a long line of great audio streamers. Logitech has mastered the art of building inexpensive, good-quality powered speakers, and the ones integrated into the Boom are no exception. Great sound, great ability to easily listen to what you want spoken and music- but it is so hard to set it up and keep it up and running. Obviously they brought it out too quick for competitive reasons because I never have had this problem with old technology. So I'd say like so many things in today's technology just pass and wait until the products are more spectacular and really give us what we want. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I highly recommend it for the price (I got it for less than $200 over a year ago). It is the best available- which I could find, but I expect that in the coming years there will be more players available and incorporate the missing features I listed in the "Cons" category. It is very easy to setup and use, and has excellent sound quality. Very well designed. Makes AM/FM and satellite radio all obsolete for home use. Whatever you would like to listen to is on the web somewhere. I am really happy with this product. I purchased the Boombox without having had any other SqeezeBox products. The unit set up in minutes and performed well. When I moved the unit however, it stopped. I contacted SqeezeBox support by e-mail and then by phone. The technician tried everything to make it work but was unsuccessful. Bought this a year ago to specifically listen to New Zealand radio stations(from the UK) and it does this brilliantly - in any room of my house. Also enables me to listen to American Blue Grass stations, Turkish music stations etc - whatever turns me on.
