This addition to the Philips Streamium range is the Keira Knightley of network media players: pretty, petite and classy. Unlike Ms Knightley (probably), it's also wall-mountable and has a lovely full-colour screen. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

The NP2900 is a nice looking and very fine sounding box of tricks. Although a little less robust in use and not as feature rich as Logitech's Squeezebox Boom, it produces a marginally better sound and comes with a far superior screen and remote control. Het is een Philips NP2900/12 internet - radio Aanleiding tot aanschaf Wij houden van muziek en hebben een grote home cinema set met radio en een TV met radio via de kabel. Maar om deze aan te zetten enkel voor muziek is wat stroom aan gaat niet echt goedkoop en beide zijn ook niet zomaar verplaatsbaar. Dus is het wel heel erg moeilijk om als je bijvoorbeeld in de tuin zit dat buiten te zetten of anders heel hard aan moet zetten om het buiten te kunnen horen. Lees Meer

wifi doesn't connect

Wifi does not connect. It recognizes my router but does not connect after the password is entered. It does connect through the ethernet and functions nicely with international radio stations. But without the wifi capability it is useless. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

My first disappointment is that I thought this player would run on DC (rechargeable batteries), as well as AC. Guess I didn't read the product details close enough. So, what I thought would be a more portable player, is now a stationary one. It's not easy to drag around from room to room. It has a home on the kitchen counter, and that's where it stays. Still, it has great sound for its size and seems to be well constructed. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Liebe Leserinnen und Leser, ich habe mir jetzt ein Internetradio zugelegt für unsere nächste Party zu Hause, denn das ewige CD auflegen war ich leid. So habe ich mir bei Saturn dieses tolle Teil zugelegt, das Philips NP 2900. Bezahlt habe ich 199,99€ bei Saturn wie gesagt. Ich bin Radiovielhörer und wollte halt Sender hören, die es Regional hier nicht gibt und vor allem wollte ich den Mediaplayer vom Rechner anschließen, damit ich die heruntergeladene Musik...
