Purchased this receiver in 2009 to power 5 speakers and subwoofer in a guest room in my father's house. Powers 3 energy speakers for the front left, center and right speakers as well as two BOSE in-wall speakers (father picked them, not me). The subwoofer is an energy model purchased at the iwilei costco in honolulu. Still in use today. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I just upgraded from a 2005-vintage, entry-level Yamaha 5.1 receiver that served my purposes very well. The only concern I had about getting this was the lack of a 6-channel discrete input for my SACD player. Since I also have a PS3 that can play back SACDs though, I bit the bullet and bought it. This Denon is perfect! With the latest HDMI interface, I now have one cable running from the PS3 into the receiver that passes audio and video. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

This receiver is a great balance between the high-end features I was looking for and the high price I wasn't. The automatic setup was a breeze and immediately sounded just fine. Once I went completely digital, the automatic switching works flawlessly and it's all easy to use once you get comfortable. All with Denon's quality. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Very gud product from Denon which has some high end features at the entry level price. I highly recommened this AV receiver if one is really looking for perfect sound clarity and for whome movie is a priority than music. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- Average total power (just 75 watts RMS/channel at 8 ohms).

Ich hatte bereits einen DENON AVR-1603 und war eigentlich zufrieden. Ich habe mich entschieden ein neueres Meodell, auch wegen des HDMI Anschlusses, zu kaufen. Ich habe diverse externe Geräte angeschlossen. Auch einen Technisat STR-1 Digital Satelitten Receiver. Beim Ton des digitalen Satelitten Receiver allerdings muss der AVR-1610 kapitulieren. Das Dolby Digital (AC-3 Mode) Tonsignal kann nicht voll als solches umgestzt werden. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
