Onlangs, deze wat oudere model van Marantz aangeschaft. Wilde eerst 6005, maar gezien de specs zijn ze min of meer gelijk en 3d hoeft van mij niet. Ben zeer verrast met audio weergave van de receiver. Klanken zijn mooi helder en gescheiden. Lees Meer

I have owned my SR6004 for nearly two years. After about ten months I experience the "pop of death" where the amp goes into protection mode and will not reset regardless of using all available methods from the manual or tech support. This was a common problem with the SR5004. Looking on the web this problem is common and it appears to be due to lack of voltage protection from HDMI inputs, particularly from cable companies that may produce voltage surge. The above poster bought it from an unauthorised online dealer called etechpower.com and has confirmed this himself on the avs.com forum in post no.137 under the thread xxx4 failure issues which he started.I'm surprised how he is saying that he bought from an authorised dealer when he clearly did not in his own words.
