T he heart of the Home theater system is the AV receiver. A device that has that taken the word “multitask” to unimaginable heights. Right from powering your speakers, to decoding and splitting signals, the AV receiver is very important in your HT system. And Onkyo is one major global player in this field, they have a good presence in India too. i'm a fan of onkyo quality/price ratio. i wish i had done more research to know that this receiver does not pass HDMI sound though. otherwise, it's an awesome receiver for the price. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Toen ik op zoek was naar een nieuwe HD tv, kwam ik tot de conclusie dat ik beter tegelijk een nieuwe receiver, hd ontvanger en blue ray speler kon aanschaffen. Dan kan je nl. overal met hdmi in en out. Lees Meer

led display is easy to read form my easy chair. the remote will do most anything without my getting up from my chair. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Good sound, easy to use controls and very sensitive remote volume control
- Has no phonograph input this really came as a shock to me. Now I have to spent $150 for a pre-amp

I recently bought this receiver to replace an aging 20 year old Sony. This was for a small bedroom, so I didn't need a lot of power. I also wanted to reduce clutter. Before this I used an HDMI switcher to switch between my PC and PS3, so I needed a new receiver with HDMI inputs. I also wanted to step up to digital sound for the PS3. Given that my needs are so modest, this receiver is a good fit. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Relatively inexpensive. Automatic speaker setup with Audyssey EQ. 3 HDMI inputs. 2 different pseudo-surround modes. Officially supports 6 ohm speakers.
- HDMI is Pass Thru only, receiver does NOT process HDMI audio signals, merely sends them through the HDMI output to a TV or other device. Doesn't support the latest HD ...

Gegen dieses Gerät ist praktisch nichts einzuwenden. Leistung ok, Anschlüsse Rückseite ok, Preis auch ok Es ist nur nicht einfach die richtigen Einstellungen für den gewünschten Tonkanal zu finden, d.h. es gibt ungefähr 25 verschiedene "Features" (Kino, Musik, Game, Hall, DTS, Dolby, ....) Der einzige Nachteil, es ist eben nur ein "PassThru", d.h. der Verstärker kann über HDMI Bild und Ton nicht trennen, Fernseher muss über HDMI und über z.B. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
