Mai 2009 (cr/th) Einführung "Palastrevolution" bei Pioneer: Schon ab 399 EUR (UVP) gibt es Dolby TrueHD und DTS-HD Master Audio, elegant verpackt im nagelneuen VSX-819, der über 3 HDMI-Eingänge verfügt. Die weiteren Features sind ebenfalls hochinteressant, so ist der Direktanschluss eines iPods mittels eines speziellen Verbindungskabels möglich, teure Dockingstationen entfallen.   1. Second one that stopped working in less than 2 years

    I purchased in 2009, the 1st unit I received stopped working in less than a month of purchasing. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement quickly. Yesterday while watching TV the unit just powered down and would not come back on. The returned unit did the exact same thing. My thoughts are that this model is defective and I can not recommend this unit for use. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    When I decided to update/upgrade my receiver there were several things that drew me to this model: -Multiple HDMI inputs -Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD -USB input for iPod integration -5.1 analog input for external surround device The last one is important to me, as I needed a receiver that I could hook up my old SACD player up to (I had been going without it hooked up for a while, since I was using the 5.1 inputs for the Blu-Ray player).     I use this receiver in a small apartment living room with a old school Celestion speaker array without a sub. I had no issues with setup and performance is flawless.. no dropouts or problems with my other HDMI components (Blu-Ray and cable box). Sound is musical and dynamic, though maybe not as rich as from previous Onkyo receivers I have owned. Overall, an excellent unit at great price. This is my first Pioneer product and I am impressed.     • Price, very decent build quality, latest gen decoding, good sound, usable remote.
    • Not 7.1, 110/w per channel is probably overstated. Pioneer's power ratings are a bit misleading.

    The product did not come with the actual remote so I had to figure out how to get the univeral remote to work. Once doing that, there were functions in the set up that I could not reach because the setup screen does not transmit through HDMI cables and I had to find component cables. Once that happened, I got the screen up, but the remote does not control the receiver set up screen and now I am forced to got purchase a remote for that receiver. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
