Canon’s EF-S range is designed for the small APS-C sensor but all of the lenses in the EF range are suitable for APS and full-frame systems (either 35mm film or 35mm sized sensors). The question is, does the 75-300mm lens make the grade on the APS-C sensor? Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

You can easily spend more on a couple (or even one) lens than you paid for your camera, so it's nice to be able to get a 4x zoom for little more than the price of a kit lens. The image-stabilized version of this lens helps with the need to stop the aperture down to obtain crisp images, but you'll pay over twice as much for it. It's cheaper to use a tripod with this lens in order to achieve similar image quality. All in all a nice offering from Canon. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Image Stabilization (IS) is a great feature. On the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens, IS lets you handhold two f-stops faster than without this feature. It costs a lot of money to buy a lens with a 2-stop faster aperture. Of course, IS is not everything - and cannot create background blur or stop action like a faster lens. I got a great deal on the bundle of this lens and the Rebel XS. The Telephoto lens performs very well, with the large exception that there is no image stabilization. If you think you'll be able to bring a tripod or take your time and take a non-shaky photo, this could be for you. I really need a EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM---so that is my next purchase. I love Canon products so there is nothing but praise. Zeer goede lens voor dat geld . USM werkt zeer goed en fluisterstil. Mooie scherpe foto,s en helder al moet je wel goed licht hebben buiten maar dat geld voor alle lensen denk ik .Ook tot 300mm blijft het lensje scherp .Kortom een echte aanra... Lees Meer

Ich habe mir vor etwa einem Jahr das Canon EF 75-300mm 1:4-5,6 III gekauft und bin recht zufrieden damit. Ich nutze es an einer EOS 450D, jedoch kommt es eher selten zum Einsatz. Aber wenn man es einmal braucht ist es zuverlässig und liefert gute Bilder. Der Zoom ist jedoch etwas hackelig und schwergängig. Für Hobbyknipse völlig ausreichend! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
