    I had to replace a favorite multi-cd player that could handle my legacy CDs and MP3 discs. Marantz has a good reputation and this unit lives up to it. I did not expect the very realistic reproduction that it achieved with my Narada CDs. It is certainly the best I have heard under $500. At this price point it is an extraordinary unit.     ...Until now. The Marantz CC4003 is a massive, solidly-built unit with an attractive faceplate. But I didnt buy it for its weight or looks. I was building a critical listening room at home and wanted a CD player to add to my turntables, open reel deck and tuner. I ordered the Marantz because it had such good reviews and I wasnt misled. It has a very natural, uncolored open sound, not entirely unlike a turntable, likely due to its Cirrus Logic DAs. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
