    Antec has followed the motto 'If it's not broke, don't fix it', for some time now with their Performance One series of cases. The core function and style of the case is retained but they have made a few tweaks to improve on it. There is greater airflow with the improved vents in the front door and drive bay covers. As with its other siblings, the P183 is made of quality materials and is therefore quite sturdy and strong. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • Heavy, Cable length could be issue

    Unfortunately, while I still consider it a classic, in reality, the P183 does seem a bit outdated with its lack of tooless installs, no interior paint job amd less than stellar cooling. While I like the small additions that have been made to this v3, I think that the 183 needs quite a big revamp to be worth its £120 price tag. Considering you could get yourself the much better Twelve Hundred for almost the same money, I’d say go modern. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Today we’ve taken a look at the P183, a case in the performance category from Antec. There is not much difference from the P182 apart from a few cosmetic changes. So what has been changed? Well we see new ventilation holes in the frontdoor, more easily removed drive bay brackets, replacement of a fan holder in the lower chamber, no fan guide on the top of the chassis and finally probably the most important thing.     Tweet The P183 is a case that has come about from customer feedback that has now been implemented by Antec. A big company listening to its customers is great to see. The new revisions are all good and contribute to making this case very impressive.     I can't give it any lower than 2 stars, as it's a very well-built case, and is backed by years of reviews. Unfortunately, as is hinted by the "years of reviews", the design is too dated, and for the repeated, non-stop disappointments, ultimately leading to another case purchase, I can't give it more than 2 stars.     Been a long time Antec cases fan,this being my forth one. Previous case was the Solo, which was nice looking, fairly ahead of anything comparable at the time due to the internal design and the "silent" merits. It's been my main home music studio PC for the last three or four years. Now, time to upgrade, went open-mindedly to review ANY brand & make available on-line.     I can hear my fridge, which is 15 feet away, over my computer. I have the 3 optional 140mm fans installed, 2 video cards in CrossfireX, the cp-1000 power supply, and a huge zalman cpu cooler in it... this thing is SILENT! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
