There are plenty of reasons to justify spending an extra $20 on the PowerShot SX210 over the SX200. If you're shooting in great conditions, you won't have a problem snapping clean shots at the top end of the camera's generous 14x zoom range. The Canon PowerShot SX210 IS is a fairly decent point and shoot camera that will impress professionals and possibly overwhelm novices with all of the features it does have. Luckily though the PowerShot SX210 does have an easy mode for beginners and the Auto mode actually does a very good job at taking general purpose pictures. I have had Canon cameras for over 25 years. I bought this one after my A620 quit working, which was a fantastic point and shoot camera. I have had this camera for over a year. The pictures are either a hit or miss (totally out of focus even though you let the camera auto focus) and I find myself taking multiple pictures at one time hoping one turns out. This is a very good camera. Although I have only used it a couple of times, I took a variety of pictures both close up , normal distaces and zoomed in on objects at a distance, and the pictures were very good. have owned and operated Canon SX 210 IS for approx. 1 year. Noted marked color distortions with inside photos...which must be adjusted manually to get close to accurate colors...leaving camera in AUTO or EASY will result in inaccurate colors not only inside, but also outside, in natural light. onscherpe fotos

mijn fotos genomen met de Sx210 trekken op niets,toestel reeds bij canonrepair geweest maar het resultaat is zelfde,mijn vorig toetel was powershot 445 en hiermee heb ik jaren prachtige scherpe fotos gemaak.wanneer ik zelfde foto maak met de 45 en dan met de 210 is ereen groot vershil in beeldkwaliteit,iemeand met oplossing? groeten Otten Theo
