    There's nothing quite like a long zoom that can capture a room without backing you into a wall or reach across a meadow to snap some shy wildlife. They will never be small but they are getting compact. The Panasonic FZ35 is one of the finer specimens I tested this summer.     The Panasonic Lumix FZ38 is a top-performing superzoom compact at an affordable price point. In fact, for the money, you’d be stretched to find any better.     Inleiding Na een aantal jaren op vakantie te zijn geweest naar Zwitserland met huis, tuin en keuken camera's hebben wij besloten om iets meer te investeren in onze vakanite kiekjes. Aangezien wij liefhebbers zijn van de omgeving en de natuur die Zwiterserland heeft te bieden en wij slechts 3 weken in een jaar daar kunnen zijn.     Just aim focus and snap !! Easy, reliable excellent product. I waited well over a year to leave a comment on this product as I wanted to get a sure and accurate opinion on it. This camera has far exceeded my expectations. Excellent pic quality. Very easy to use. Fast upload and the battery holds a good charge.     I researched cameras for about two months. I did not want a p&s camera I wanted the versatility of a DLSR without the cumbersome lens and cost. The camera has so many settings it has been fun to learn the uses. I have had the camera only 8 months and already taken about 5,000 pictures. The zoom lens allows me to get close to animals, great macro shots too. Image stability is very good even at full zoom. I have always wanted to get into photography.     I ordered this camera from Beach Camera and couldn't have asked for a better price and better, faster service. Promised in 10 days, delivered in three! I've got to practice some more but so far it's all that I need to capture some pretty amazing shots of action, scenery and micro-shots.     I got an extra battery (Lenmar DLP006, has good ratings, not just on Newegg) and a Transcend 8GB SDHC card, Model TS8GSDHC6 from Newegg, to complete the set, for now. I got the SDHC class 6 memory so I could try the video function, and that seems to work quite well for a photo camera. De Lumix DMC-FZ35 (of DMC-FZ38 in Europa) is van alle markten thuis. De camera beschikt over maar liefst 18 x optische zoom, 12.1 megapixel superzoom en een groothoeklens van 27 mm. Vele opties kunnen handmatig bestuurd worden. Consumenten kunnen met de creatieve modus zelf de diafragma en sluitertijd bepalen. Als fotograaf heeft u daarnaast ook zelf de helderheid en kleuren in de hand. Maar u hoeft het gelukkig niet allemaal zelf te doen. Met Intelligent Auto worden automatisch voorwerpen herkend, terwijl de Intelligent Scene Selector u helpt bij de juiste beeldcompositie. HD video behoort ook tot een van de mogelijkheden. De opnames kunnen in AVCHD Lite worden opgenomen. Dit betekent dat HD beelden minder plaats in beslag nemen dan gewone AVCHD opnames. Dankzij dit systeem is het mogelijk om beelden op een SD geheugenschijf te bewaren.

De DMC-FZ35 bezit een krachtige 18 x optische zoom en een 27 mm groothoeklens. Dit hoogwaardige optische zoom bereik kan niet alleen toegepast worden in video maar ook in foto mode. De LEICA DC VARIO ELMARIT lens heeft een lichtsterkte van f/2.8-4.4 en legt beeldmateriaal in zeer goede kwaliteit vast. De eersteklas lens eenheid bestaat uit elf elementen in acht groepen, met twee ED lenzen en drie aspherische lenzen, inclusief een tweezijdige aspherische meniscus lens.

De POWER O.I.S. is ruim twee keer zo effectief dan de voorafgaande stabilisatiesystemen en beperkt op een vrij krachtige wijze onscherpte van bijvoorbeeld handbewegingen. Foto’s met een uitgebreide sluitertijd of in een donkere omgeving zijn met het moderne stabilisatiesysteem zeer goed vast te leggen.

Een Ultra High Speed Auto Focus is mogelijk dankzij de vele aanpassingen in het interne circuit. Dit resulteert in een precieze AF systeem voor razendsnel fotograferen. Niet alleen de autofocussnelheid is drastisch verbeterd, maar ook de inschakelsnelheid is met ongeveer 20% toegenomen ten opzichte van het voorafgaande model Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28.
