    After a bit of research and reading reviews, I purchased this for my Mom, who is in her late 70's. She'd found it challenging to operate more than one remote control to watch movies on her other DVD player. With this portable, she's enjoying the simplicity of just turning it on, inserting a DVD, and watching her favorites. And she can take it with her wherever she goes.     If you have a long drive a must for entertaining kids in car. Beautiful picture. Adjustable screen for easy viewing. The sound is not like any home entertainment system but expected. Headsets remedy this to good sound. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    I have owned this for 3 months and I abosolutly love it! You really get your moneys worth. I usually bring my lap top to play movies, but it usually dies, while this lasts my entire trip. It lasts about 7.5 hours and my lap top usually lasts about 2 hours. The picture and sound is great. I love it! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Son'y said that when the laser starts to die it won't read DVD info but still has enough power to read music CD's Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    I bought my husband the 7" version of this Sony portable DVD player a year ago and we were both so happy with the quality he bought me this 9" version. It is absolutely wonderful! The swivel screen makes it so much easier to prop up while watching in bed, the picture and sound quality are well worth the 5-star rating, and the in-ear earphones which came with it an excellent and unexpected extra.
