Enige tijd geleden heb ik deze schijf aangeschaft, zodat ik voldoende opslagruimte zou hebben voor al mijn bestanden, en om eventueel back ups op te zetten. Toendertijd heb ik rond de 70 euro voor deze schijf betaald, tegenwoordig ligt de prijs alweer wat lager, en deze zal in de toekomst alleen nog maar verder zakken. Inhoud verpakking In de verpakking zitten naast de harde schijf ook nog een adapter en de usb-kabel. De schijf moet tijdens gebruik altijd aan de adapter. Lees Meer

Bought this to replace the first WD My Book I purchased many years ago that finally bit the dust. I also have another WD My Book I still use. I prefer the WD Elements drive because both of the My Books came formatted FAT and I needed NTFS and had to reformat. The Elements is already NTFS - thank you WD! I have Windows Media Center and use the drive for my recorded TV. Also backed up my laptop and desktop and still have plenty of room on the drive. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

If you are looking for some serious backup power, with a nice size both in actual design and capacity, this is a really good choice but obviously if you can afford external SSD's, go for it. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

It worked fine for the first two weeks, and then my computer would not recognize the hard drive after the first week. I thought that it was the USB cable, so I bought a new one and it still wouldn't work. I am very disappointed, and I don't know what to do now because I already back up so much date onto it.
