    Ik durf nog steeds niet te zeggen dat dit het beste Final Fantasy deel uit de serie is, maar het is ongetwijfeld een grote kanshebber voor deze titel en ik ben blij dat deze top RPG in al zijn glorie de GBA heeft bereikt. Lees Meer

    GBA-games mogen dan wel niet openlijk omarmd worden door de hardcore gamers, maar dat het gedateerde systeem nog heel wat heugelijke uurtjes kan opleveren kan de Final Fantasy reeks onbetwist aantonen. Inmiddels is ook Final Fantasy VI overgezet naar de GBA en uitgaande van het succes van de vorige ports verwachten we opnieuw een game met een onweerstaanbare verslavingsfactor. Lees Meer

    What can I say about Final Fantasy VI that hasn't already been said five times already by everyone who picked this GBA port up last week? No matter what I write, 16-bit purists will continue to decry the translation changes and retro-FF-enthusiasts will still consider it the best Final Fantasy game ever. Instead of going over the differences between FFVI Advance and previous versions of it, I want to write about it with the perspective of playing it for the first time.     • noticeable slowdown on chocobos and airships

    • The system's sound quality doesn't do the soundtrack justice; some fights suffer from slow down.

    • Tight, satisfying gameplay, an interesting story, a fun, diverse cast.
    • Music suffered a bit in emulation, a teeny bit of slowdown during battles, not as much additional content as in past Final Fantasy GBA ports.

    INTRODUCTION Final Fantasy VI is a JRPG (Japanese Role-Playing Game) published initially for the SNES console back in 1994. It was immediately acclaimed as a game with an excellent storyline and a moltitude of fully characterized characters, which led it to become one of the most popular chapters of the whole Final Fantasy saga.     Truthfully, I have not played through the entire game yet, but at this point, it is one of my favorite games. I personally like FFX better, but that is a more current game and on a more current console, so it has a slight advantage. Also, I have not played any of the other versions of this game, so I do not know how it compares. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • If you like Final Fantasy games or RPGs in general, there is a pretty good chance that you will love this game. It has great gameplay and story. Like all Final Fantasy...
    • The graphics are pretty dark, but that could be because I am playing it on one of the original GBAs. It may be brighter on the SP or DS.

    • The GBA port of the classic RPG has all the elements making this game great.
    • Cons for Final Fantasy VI are so minuscule they aren't worth mentioning here.

    Der für mich immer noch beste Final Fantasy, zum ersten mal (in einer brauchbaren Version) in Europa. Was hier an Tiefgang, Story, liebenswerten Charakteren, Umfang und Details abgefackelt ist für mich bis heute unerreicht. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
