    Over the course of this review, my opinion of this card has gradually improved alongside the software and drivers. Initially I wasn't very impressed, but could see the potential. With each updated version of the drivers and player I've become just a little more comfortable with the card. I'm happy to say that today I'm extremely satisfied with its performance.     My current setup (3 yrs old Media Center): -Intel E6600 Dual 2.4 Ghz -ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i MB -EVGA 8600GTS -Onkyo PR-SC885 -Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Steps: -Disabled on-board audio -Install Card -Install driver from Asus support website ver 1775 -Set Windows default audio device to speaker -Set xonar control panel to HDMI, 8-channels, 7.1 speakers -Upgrade Totalmedia Theather 3 from ver 120 to ver 160 -Set HDMI-Through in TMT and wholla Dolby Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    i was trying to go from my computer to my receiver.. i have the GTX470. and i was trying to use HDMI. my receiver rx-v665, the receiver would not recognize my video card. (the Asus Xonar has a thru port you can take your video card and pop it through the sound card so the sound and video are synced via HDMI) i thought buying this card would help the problem, it didnt. i was using 1920x1080p. monitor recognizes. it recognizes every single input. but the receiver didnt.     Bin von einer X-Fi Fatal1ty Champion (PCI) auf die Xonar HDAV umgestiegen und habe mir dann noch die H6 Analog Zusatzkarte dazu gekauft (war billiger, H6 bei Alternate, SK an sich bei anderem Versender) als gleich die Deluxe Variante) und muss sagen, die Soundqualität ist enorm gestiegen, gerade in Bezug auf Mitten und Höhen. Allerdings ist dies natürlich nur mein subjekives Empfinden. Betreibe die Karte wahlweise per S/PDIF oder 5.1 analog, DDL etc. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
