    Frames per second aside, what’s it like? To be honest I never really noticed much in Half Life 2 or CS:Source.  Quake 4 is menacing on any sound card and this didn’t disappoint. It was very good. Battlefield 2 was good too, and the Tampa map is excellent to play on with the XF-i. Until Battlefield 2142. I was blown away by the change.     At around £45 it's not the most expensive upgrade you could invest in, but only those deeply concerned with sound quality or those who have a laptop hooked up for long periods to better audio equipment, need apply.     I do all sorts of sound configurations. I work as a sound tech for Concerts, Sporting Events, and Gaming Events. I also write my own music. I can't connect any of my midi instruments via direct connect or usb midi interface. I can't connect or sync my mp3 player, which is part of my phone. I do like Creative Media Source 5. I can organize what I need for Gaming Events for cribbage, bridge, pinochle, spades, and canasta tourneys. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Im not a total "techy" or "audophile" but I found it very easy to install and really like the software options. I'm working with an average system with Win 7 and plan on buying the same card for my other system as well. This card was [$] and worth it. Creative Labs has been a favorite of mine all along.     My last purchae was an Audigy 2ZS Platinum Pro which was not cheap, and I fully expected more only to be VERY disappointed that I got a cheap knockoff of an X-FI card that was misrepresented. Does anyone else feel as if they have been misrepresented by this card not having an X-FI chipset on it while being marketed/represented as an X-FI product line offering Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
