    So, is this card worth the investment? With a list price of $179.99, it is certainly not cheap. For that price however, you’re getting a card which is quite possibly the best of both worlds: EAX and post-processing for games, RCA outputs and up to 24-bit/96khz playback capability for high resolution audio.     Looking first at the build quality and design of the X-Fi Titanium HD we have a product which impresses on every level. With a solid EMI shield which gives a glimpse inside the unit and a black PCB it looks impressive when first unboxed and the use of gold plated connectors and bracket adds to the aesthetic appeal of the card.     Two 1/2 years ago I bought a brand new Creative Lab Soundblaster Audigy 4 sound card for nearly $80.00 at pc club. For $80.00 the Audigy 4 does wonders and more. Set on EAX/Environment/Garage, I can hear soldier/s walking or running around near by building or walls and enemy or friendly fire from as far as out yonder in games Americas Army and Battlefield2 through my sony mdr-v600 headphones.     By Lim Wei Ren Kevin 90% of all revewers here upgraded from onboard audio to the Titanium HD and were amazed. While that's all well and good, truth be told, even the very old Soundblaster Live! series would've impresed when compared to onboard audio. I had an X-Fi Audio sound card and didn't possibly think this to be a 'big' upgrade, considering it was still an X-Fi series card. Boy was I proven wrong!
