The Sennheiser HD 25-1-II are a set of mid-range headphones that will entice buyers with style, and not a whole lot else. While they do manage a fair frequency response, their distortion problems and their odd underemphasis in the 6-8kHz range make for a listening experience that really isn’t going to give you what you’re looking for if you’re a member of the target demographic that they claim these are fit for. Overall, I really like the HD25-1. Neutral and balanced, yet also dynamic and punchy. (Most neutral phones lack punch, and most punchy phones lack neutrality and balance). It drives nicely straight from your DAP, but plug in an amp and it’ll go from punchy to seismic! Good sound, solid build quality, and a cool looking design too! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

if you are a die hard music enthusiast as myself youre gonna love em and if you dont have them, buy them!!! i say that with more confidence than when stating my gender on an application (lol)...if you dont believe me, check out youtube and filter any john madden or lee corso football announcement that they might have done without relevance to the hdii25 and thats what is going to be strapped to their skulls. The only headphones that come close to the solidity of these 25s, are the Sony V6 professionals. But these sound way way better and are even more solid. They feel unbreakable, sit tight and have very decent isolation. Yeah they cost a little, but they are totally worth it. The quality is just literally top-notch. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Thanks to J&R Music World for offering these at a great price [$] The headphones normally cost over $300!! grerat savings. They are already the professional standard in europe and US audiophiles should seriously check out this brand & model. It blows away the competition (Sony, etc) in every category. Wir haben hier einige Studios mit diesen Kopfhörern ausgestattet. Nach 2 Jahren haben die Hälfte von 6 Kopfhörern die gleichen Mängel. Bei allen gibt es Wackelkontakte, die nicht an den Kabeln sondern an die Ohrmuscheln liegen. Warum dieser Fehler so vielfach auftritt, ist mir ein Rätsel, denn die Dinger sind eigentlich mit einer fast unlösbaren Zugentlastung ausgestattet. Wir werden in Zukunft andere Kopfhörer kaufen.
