When checking out a new headset I usually take it for a walk and/or visit to a location where there would be plenty of noise before concluding with sessions in my favourite armchair listening to different types of music. These tests allow me to check out features such as audio quality, external noise elimination and how comfortable the headset is over a period of time while tethered to an appropriate source of audio content. Een jaar of acht een Sennheider HDR 65 met veel plezier gebruikt. Accu's werden stuk minder en zijn vrij duur, daarom de RS 170 aangeschaft. Observaties: Door groter bereik veel minder last van kort wegvallen bij bewegingen. Lees Meer

I was a little worried about getting static or some sort of interference on a headset that costs over $200, but I get absolutely none. I highly recommend these headphones. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Wireless, excellent sound (even compared to wired), base station that doubles as the antenna and charger, replaceable batteries, comfortable, zero interference or static.
- My ears get a bit warm after a few hours of use, but I find that to pretty standard with a closed headset.
3rd Party Vendor Sarjo might not replace your defective product (or even answer your requests)

I cannot accurately rate the product, since it was defective from the start. I have purchased items from Amazon for years now. They are usually quick to resolve any issues. Unluckily for me, I bought these headphones from one of their third party vendors. The problem I was having is that the headphones would not charge when mounted on their cradle no matter what you did, even though the charge light was lit. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Just purchased these wireless headphones for use with TV, not ham radio. They replace Radio Shack wireless headphones which stopped working and fell apart. (And were VERY uncomfortable). The RS-170 is a QUALITY product and works as advertised. Extremely comfortable - almost as comfortable as Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Audio is terrific. Range is way more than needed. The headphones easily fit onto the charger dock, and the light tells you when they are fully charged. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
