    Purchased this through J&R music world with Amazon check-out back in February 2011. Everything went well from the ease of placing the order to the delivery to the sound of the sub. 9 months later I turned on my entertainment center and to my surprise the sub was not responding-no power. I tried a different outlet still DEAD.. I emailed JBL through their customer support from their website..no response. I called their support line, was on hold for over 30 min.     So far I've plugged it in and used it on the LFE channel on my Onkyo home theater receiver. After watching a few scenes from a couple reference movies, the lows and effects were truly impressive. In one sceene, my dogs actually got startled by a door slam that they couldn't have cared less about before the speaker.     If you want to anchor your home theater and pull you into the movie, this is it for you. It truly delivers, at least in my experience, stomach pounding, gut churning, earth shattering, wall shaking, floor bouncing bass that you feel at movie theaters and concerts. Being able to feel it, not just hear it, is what I love about hardcore bass. I have owned one of these for about a year now, and I am so glad I got this one over others in its class.     This is a great sub. It doesnt produce extra load booming bass like ported enclosures. But it does hit hard. the bass is tight an precise. i had an old psw15 an it shook the whole house before it died. Nonetheless im happy with the sound this sub produces.     You will need a two wheel hand truck to move this puppy. Small and powerful will best descibe this subwoofer. I was watching Private Ryan for the first time since its initial release the other night and this very powerful little beast was shaking my track lights and bringing realism to my living room.
