    There's not much wrong with the iMT702 inMotion Max. The clever packaging makes it easily portable and the built-in battery frees it up from dependence on mains power. The sound quality is good for a product which sits in a category that's really more focused on convenience than absolute audio competence. It's just a shame that Altec didn't think of making it double up as a speakerphone. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Our overall rating of inMotion MAX is a reflection of several competing feelings we had about the system. On one hand, the system sounds better than the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2, as well as JBL’s On Stage IIIP, perhaps the two most prominent iPhone-ready portable audio systems on the market.     Sound quality is rarely the prerogative of products like this and the Altec Lansing inMotion Max is no different. However, in light of its performance and its price, it's hard not to be a little disappointed by it. It's a solid option if it does what you want, but it could have been better.     The sound quality is excellent. I use it outside and it easily fills my spacious backyard. While it was made prior to the iphone4, and does not say it is compatible with it, it does work -- minus the inserts and the bumber guard -- so when a call comes through, you have to have the guard at hand. I love the digital readout function so I always know what is playing. The controls on top are a nuisance and do not easily activate when you push them. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    I have owned a set of these speakers and i seem to think the complete oppisite to these other reviews! It is a very stylish speaker system, which looks really sleek. I have never had any problems with the buttons on top, my iPods (i have tried the iPod nano 3g, iPod touch 2g and 4g) all work perfectly fine with it, plus the dock charges them for me which is a great help!
