Logitech's intuitively designed, good-looking, and excellent-sounding Pure-Fi Dream leads the pack in alarm clock/iPod docks. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Some might say that Pure-Fi Dream’s problem is that it tries to do a little too much. Viewed as a pure rival for the SoundDock, and released last year minus the alarm clock functionality at a lower price, it might have made sense. Here we have a few shots of the system tuned into a local radio station as well as using my iPhone. When using the radio, you can adjust the screen to display the radio station, time or graphic equalizer. The system also supports RDS (Radio Data System). I was pretty impressed by the earlier reviews for this set of speakers + dock from logitech. Unfortunately, i found that the sound quality was very poor if you want to listen to loud music in your room. My 3 year old pure-fi express2 set is much much better in terms of sound and bass. Also, the ipod dock did not charge my ipod touch, and as a result i had to return this product in a day. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I chose this after trying a couple of other models that sounded great but didn't have the features I wanted.It seemed like a bargain, turned out not to be, and I would have sent it back except for the fact that it almost did what I wanted it to and I thought I could live with the shortcomings. I will soon junk it and get something new. The Pure-Fi Dream is a truly eccentric product that regularly fails to do what you what you think you set it to do. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Great sound from FM or iPod: rich, full, can easily fill a large bedroom, but sounds equally good when it's on low volume.

I totally agree with the previous reviewer. The product is well built - very heavy and the sound is really good - the reason I bought it. However, the transformer really buzzes - I notice it at night which is annoying to say the least - I stuck it behind the cabinet covered in acoustic foam with a little aeration so it doesn't overheat. The unit also resets itself to default evey two weeks when attaching my iphone - wierd, but quick enough to sort out with three clicks. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
