    Inexpensive notebooks can be fantastic. We've reviewed a number of bargain-priced portables that pleased us and would please any price-conscious consumer. On the other hand, sometimes you really do get what you pay for, and that's the unfortunate case with the Acer Aspire 5741Z-5433.     I purchased this laptop not too long after it came out. At just over 1 year, when everything on the warranty conveniently expires, the hard drive started having boot issues and the DVD drive flat out stopped working. It also started overheating and randomly shutting down and there were some other quirks. The laptop has never been dropped, remotely abused or had anything spilled on it.     I put a hold on the credit card payment and told the retailer that if they didn't issue a full refund that I would file a fraud complaint for selling bogus merchandise.     The laptop is really good value for money, its fast and it does everything a budget laptop should do. The only problem is the screen, it is very reflective and near impossible to view outside in bright sunlight apart from that it is worth the money. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Great laptop for the price....I don't think there are many better. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • Gets the job done. Reliable and does everything you need from a day to day computer either at home or on the go.
    • Battery life is not spectacular but I find I can use it for most things for a couple of hours and you are never really that far away from an outlet.
