    The Samsung R780-Hero is a 17.3 incher that tries to unite the strengths of an Office notebook with those of a multimedia laptop. The R780 bids a very good cooling system with Silent Mode for noise sensitive users on the ergonomic side. A fast Intel Core i5-520M (2.40 GHz) beside an Nvidia Geforce GT 330M (midrange) and a 500 GB hard disk speaks for the multimedia affinity.     Comfortable to use, quiet and with a nice design, the Samsung R780 is worth a look. Good overall performance however, its screen and the audio leave something to be desired, which almost cost it another star on our rating. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    With decent processing power, the ability to let you indulge in a bit of gaming and a solid design, the R780 is great value at £799. However, Samsung’s curious decision to go with a 32-bit operating system and the laptop’s woefully short battery life can’t be ignored.     I bought my R508 ! year ago. it has traveled around Europe with me by car, Motorcycle & flight. it has neither broken or even crashed. except for a windows 7 Glitch when i first bought it. unlike my previous sony Viao, and toshiba sattelite. buy one if you dont need to be to far from a power supply, If you do forget it.
