    Sony's Vaio F11 in the VPC-F11Z1E/BI variation is a potent 16.4 inch notebook with a powerful Intel Core i7 four core-CPU . The combination with a middle class GPU, such as the Nvidia GeForce GT 330M , doesn't allow this laptop to be a gaming bolide; but definitely a well performing work notebook for professionals and multimedia enthusiasts.     The Sony Vaio VPCF11S1E is configured to handle all activities, especially video. We are however slightly disappointed by a few details which are not up to the high levels of peformance of the processor (insufficient contrast and hard drive not up to the mark).     Though this may not be the "perfect" notebook (and it is far from being the most portable), consumers are pleased about the number of features and capabilities, as well as the quad-core performance once exclusive to desktops. The price may scare away budget-shy consumers, but ultimately you must weigh the cost to the benefits.     This review is from: Sony VPC-F11KFX/B Notebook PC, Black Had it for about two weeks - every works good except for the external connection via the VGA port - text on external monitor is hazzy. The text quality is better if connected via HDMI port, but not all monitors have HDMI port on them. Exchanged it for another one of the same model. Same exact issue.     I'm a pastor and i use it alot for church prjects and i'm pleased with how fast it is. i hav'nt found anything to slow it down. best laptop i have ever owned. the only thing i would say thats not that great is the battery life, but if you run it on balanced power it will last a litter longer about 3hrs/ 3 1/2 hrs..over all ,great laptop!     I absolutely love this laptop. I've had it nearly a year now with no problems and I'm hoping it'll last for years to come. For me the most impressive thing is the speed. 8GB is the best RAM I've seen besides certain gaming laptops, and the 500GB hard drive is unlikely to get used up in a hurry. The only time I saw a reduction in speed was when my computer got a virus, and now that's removed, the computer is back to being incredibly fast. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • after flashing for known heat issues, the fan seems to give out a high pitch tone when changing speeds as if the barrings are warn. Something I can live with.
