The Recommendation: The Rampage III Extreme is an excellent board. As expected, it offers the performance and quality one would expect from an ROG product. While we weren't blown away by the results when compared to the Rampage II, it's encouraging to find there was no drop off by adding several new features. The board's redesigned heatsinks and fantastic BIOS were nice improvements, while the addition of USB 3.0 and SATA 6G should keep it current for the next few years. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Asus richt zich met de Rampage III Extreme op het overklokken, maar baseert zich op de X58 Express-chipset met LGA1366-processorvoet. Daardoor kunnen alleen Intels snelste Core i7-processors gebruikt worden, net zoals tot 24 GB DDR3-geheugen in een -configuratie. Het bord kan overweg met vier grafische kaarten, van zowel Nvidia als ATI. Twee USB 3.0- en twee SATA 6 Gbit/s-connectors maken het plaatje volledig. Ever tried to keep your X58 motherboards IOH and ICH temps at a reasonable operating temperatures ? To be honest most of the stock heatsinks really need some help as they are underdimensioned and/or lack an active fan. Temperatures over 65°C are very comon. Many watercooling companies jumped on the wagon to manufacture a all in one cooling solution for all the hot parts of the mainboard. No seperate waterblocks for the IOH and ICH chipset or PWM area. Would give this product (and Company) less than 1 star-- 1 star is way, way over rated. I went through 3 of these MOBO's. Two of which were DOA. I sent back, to Asus, the MOBO that lasted for 10 months, they (Asus) said there was "trace damage" to the MOBO and would not repair/replace without another $300. There was no damage to this MOBO when I sent it to them. This is fraud, cooperate theft. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

This is by far one of the best motherboards on the market. I wouldn't recommend it to most simply because makes it so great it because what it can do. To get your money out of it you need 4 GPUs and 24Gb of ram. It runs perfect with less of corse but you mind as well get a cheaper mother board. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Das Mainboard ist klasse, die Optik ist super in schwarz-rot und es bietet alle aktuellen Anschlusse. Es liegt ein ausführliches Handbuch bei. Dazu noch viele Aufkleber, Kabelbinder usw. Zum Zubehör gehören genauso ein Bluetooth-Adapter, und 3 Temperatursensoren. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
