I bought this item for a basic build. I gutted out an old compaq case and put new parts in it to be used as a school computer for a student. So far it is doing fine. I put a dual core processor in it and four gigs of ram and a new power supply and this thing works better than the junk compaq had in it. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I made one mistake when I upgraded my motherboard to this Intel DG41TY: I didn't check the chipsets and as a result my old CPU didn't work in the new board. Therefore I had to buy a CPU too. However, I was able to switch my 2 Gigs of memory. The result is a fantastic system. Windows 7 works great and with the internal Intel video it produces a performance rating of 3.5.
