The Logitech MX518 is one of the best mice I have ever used. The high resolution and fast response time makes it ideal for almost any gamer. The software is useless for the most part but at least installing the software is optional and won’t affect the performance of the mouse if it is not installed. If you're unfazed that it's a bit of a featherweight, and doesn't quite reach the 2,000dpi heights of the G5, you'll be extremely satisfied with the MX518. Heb deze muis nu iets minder dan een jaar en het is echt een geweldige muis voor deze prijs. Deze muis ligt heel makkelijk in de hand. De knoppen zijn makkelijk en vooral handig te gebruiken en het is ook nog eens een mooi design. Lees Meer

I am still in love with my microsoft 6000 wired gaming mouse that I bought in 2005 and wish I bought more of...use it for work and not gaming. The MX518 comes close to that mouse in feel. Haven't found another comparable mouse yet. Still looking. The wireless mouse just don't have the control and feel that I need for long term efficient work...maybe a short work sessions. Reading the reviews for the successor mouse, too bad Logitech phased out the MX518 for the 400. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- I purchased this mouse from Newegg on 7/8/2008. It is now 11/11/2011. Roughly 3.5 years later, this mouse is still running strong as ever. Some of the plastic is start...

Er wordt beweert dat deze muis geschikt voor het gamen en dat is ie ook! Ligt goed in de hand en beschikt voor alle noodzakelijke knoppen :-) Er zit een mogelijkheid op om de gevoeligheid aan te passen. Dit is een functie die in spellen van pas kan komen, bijvoorbeeld als je van normaal naar heel precies richten wilt gaan. Ik heb het alleen nooit gebruikt of daar over nagedacht... Lees Meer

- Vrij duur in vergelijk met de MX400. Per ongeluk de gevoeligheid aanpassen is een beetje irritant.

Maybe I have got a faulty mouse, but I'm not going to buy Logitech mice again... think I'll try some other brand. By the way, as an example, I had a cheap A4tech non-gaming mouse for 6 years without this issue. So.. nowadays a brand name does not say anything, as it's all assembled poorly in poor countries by the poor people, so don't expect it to be reliable. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
