Computer mice are easy to take for granted. Very rarely do people gloat about the power of their mouse like they would about a processor or graphics card, even if they have a nifty device like the Hillcrest Labs Loop Pointer or SideWinder X3 from Microsoft. The design of the device is not very different from normal mice. Except that the wires are absent and it retains the conventional plump shape of a mouse . This is not a very big leap from the common Logitech mice everyone seems to be using nowadays. I got the cool lime green color so it doesn’t disappear all of a sudden at night when I browse the internet without the light. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I have to say that since the introduction of Microsoft's proprietary BlueTrack technology I have been quite fond of any mouse that utilizes it. The ability to use a mouse that on virtually any surface is pretty cool, the only enemy being glass or mirror based surfaces. Microsoft has continued to release different versions of their mice that integrate the BlueTrack technology. Most recently I had a chance to review the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000. This mouse is excellent! It looks good, feels good, and works perfect. I usually leave the USB receiver plugged into my laptop. When I travel, all I have to do is switch the mouse on and it connects instantly all the time. I also have a frosted glass desk at home that I use it on and it works great. I tried it on a clear glass surface also but it doesn't work well on that surface. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Inleiding M’n pa had een laptop gekocht en gebruikte nog een bedrade optische muis. Na een tijdje vond hij het tijd worden voor een draadloze muis. Hij had een aantal eisen: De muis moest niet te klein zijn, hij moest een nano receiver hebben en moest met beide handen te gebruiken zijn. De Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 was in de aanbieding maar was aan de kleine kant. We keken nog even verder en we kwamen bij deze Microsoft uit. Lees Meer

- Scrollwiel zonder klikjes, scrollwiel loopt soms aan, rubber laat op een plek los

Excellent portable mouse with the best "bang" for your buck! The smart and sleek design of the 4000 really offers the user an incredible balance of comfortable ergonomics and good portability! I have quite large hands and generally invest in larger mice to keep my hand from cramping after extended use. I've even had to resort to carrying desktop mice with me to use on the go! Most mice are are designed to be replace every few years, which is just something we have to expect. What we shouldn't accept is m$ continuing to produce or "farm out" a device that will fail and overheat. Not acceptable to possibly cause a fire. Have read a significant amount of reviews that speak of the overheating failure of the dongle and don't know if m$ has fixed the issue in the 1 1/2 years I've owned this one. Buyer Beware! - Comfortable and has Browser Back button.
- Wheel cover blows out like an old tire. Dongle WILL eventually fail and heat up significantly, possibly killing the USB port as well.

Thinking this was a good mouse I purchased it, found that it does not work on all surfaces! I have a large calendar on my desk and it will not work properly on it either... Maybe I have a defective one?! Very disappointed. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
