The specs list is largely the same, it packs the same great battery life (7 minutes more, actually) as found on the 1005HA and it's a tad less expensive in some outlets.     The Asus Eee PC 1005HA-M with Windows 7 Starter operating system stood up well to our testing. The long battery life and low energy consumption are highlights , and at 9 hours 13 minutes the battery life even exceeded the manufacturer's claims.     Light (1.2 Kg), with long battery life (5h20), a large keyboard and a 10 inch screen, the 1005HA has many good points. Two troubling aspects nevertheless: its glossy screen and noise levels when in load. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Sinds ik weer veel met de trein reis, en erg veel op school zit wilde ik mijn tijd in de trein goed benutten door op school, en in de trein mijn huiswerk te doen. Als treinreiziger en student was ik niet van plan om met een grote zware notebook te gaan sjouwen, wilde ik een lichte en kleine laptop die handig was voor onderweg. Natuurlijk wilde ik ook een mooi model, wat er stijlvol en leuk uitzag. Lees Meer

    I've had this little NetBook for a few years now. My boss recommended it to me. Six days after warranty, the "e" key stopped working; or rather, it worked too well. It filled the buffer. I called ASUS, and the guy was just a level 1 jerk. So, I was able to get a replacement keyboard from Korea (on eBay) for a reasonable price, and I installed it myself.     Happy with it for the most part comes in handy to have a little computer that can connect to alot on the go aka printer or all in one or to a moniter and you can use a microphone or headset or combo. Even has a webcam for some use in someway lol. it's a stable machine. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • Works well for most of what it's suppose to do easy to operate came with a full version of xp. surfs web plays yoube videos etc decently. well it mainly a web surfer lol.
    • The company that makes the graphics for it bog it down a little even in browsing at times. The processor or er's do alright but you can tell they dont compare to real ...

    • Strengths: GREAT LOOKS LONG BAT. LIFE. ALMOST FULL SIZE KEYBOARD, LARGE TOUCH PAD.G00D FOR GENERAL USE IF TRAVELING.
    • Weaknesses: YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR A DVD DRIVE. HAS MINIMAL SOFEWARE, BUT WITH THE DVD DRIVE AMPLE SOFTWARE CAN BE LOADED. HAS A SMALL SCREEN.

    Great little laptop. Now I don't have to fight with my wife over who gets the (previously) one laptop in the house. Mostly, I use this for school, although it has no issues with minor video watching on Youtube, although the RAM is shared for the video. If you want to watch more videos, expand the one RAM slot to 2gb from 1gb. Otherwise, its compact, one of the most comfortable netbook keyboards, and pretty quick for what I need.
