    If you're a suit who needs a netbook, this ought to prevent the Fisher-Price jokes most Eee PC models are likely to prompt from City boys.     There's no denying that the S101 is expensive compared to other SCCs - but when you compare it to small and light models from the big names it's an absolute steal. It also looks fantastic and if a 1024 x 600 screen is large enough for you to work on then it's an ideal travel companion. Throw in its glittering performance - especially when it comes to the hard drive - not to mention the massive 32GB of solid state storage and it's a very attractive proposition indeed.     Don't buy any SSD drive systems from Asus. I have used 4 of them, all different models. None of them were what I would call "speedy" or even "workable". I helped my girlfriend get a regular hard drive machine from Asus: it is noticeably faster and much better. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Ich besitze das Asus S101 Netbook inzwischen ein halbes Jahr und habe es regelmäßig in Benutzung. Der Grund, warum ich dieses Netbook gekauft habe war - abgesehen vom Design - das Gewicht, die SSD-Platte und die gute Tastatur. Bestätigen kann ich, dass dieses Netbook für den mobilen Betrieb sehr gut geeignet ist. Es ist handlich, leicht und durch die SSD-Platte resistent gegen Stöße. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    This recently released laptop was a pretty impressive one. I think some would criticise it for focussing too much on exterior design and not enough on function and, while in some ways I would agree, personally, I found it refreshing to have a laptop that stood out from the black and silver crowd. Look and Design Well, it certainly excelled here. Asus promised that the Eee PC S101 would be stylish, and they certainly weren't lying. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
