Lees Meer
Order of War isn't completely without beauty errors but that doesn't hold the game back from delivering quite some fun. A nice game, certainly for those that like the genre. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
World War II has been done a million times in a million strategy games, so a game needs to be pretty special to stand out. Genre newcomers Wargaming.net and Square Enix tried to do just that with Order of War, a broad-based real-time strategy title that tries to combine hard-core strategy, accessibility and cinematic flair. Overall, Order of War asks consumers to forgive quite a few major gameplay errors in favor of a $10 price cut from the PC standard MSRP. This is a game that will be a tough sell for anybody who is a veteran of real-time strategy games, but it's not entirely bad. The right type of gamer (RTS newcomer/casual tactician) will be able to have some fun with it. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I think it's a great game. I enjoy playing so much I go back to it repeatedly; sure would like to see a similar model and engine based upon battles in the American Civil War. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
Just finished the game so I would love to share with you my views on "Order of War" title and outline its strengths and weaknesses. That's probably why I was advised to try namely this game. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
First off I should say that I find ?Order of War? quite a versatile thing. I mean it will be ok for many types of gamers: newbie in RTS, hardened players and history buffs. I consider myself as an ordinary gamer with interest in shooters, RTSs and WWII. Maybe this is the reason why I love this game: for me it?s a great mixture of tactical RTS peppered with some shooter features. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
I'm using a high mid-range system (Phenom X4 9650, HD4770 in crossfire, 6GB RAM) and it runs fine with all video settings maxed out. The cinematic mode is nice but, I don't find myself going to that very often. The fighting map has pretty nice graphics too. I love the music. They did a good job at matching the music to the war scenes. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
Bought about a week ago and here’s what I think. First of all, I liked the scale. You have lots of troops on the battlefield simultaneously (in one of my multiplayer battles the stats screen said that I had deployed >1,5K infantry, >250 tanks, > 130 guns, >30 aircrafts) - that makes you feel Patton Jr., at least. Secondly, the graphics. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
