Op beperkte volumes voldoet de GigaWorks T40 prima. Het zijn echt speakers voor in een kleine hobby/computerkamer. Wil je films kijken, gamen of bonken en stoempen? Dan kun je beter een setje met een losse subwoofer nemen. Heb je wat minder ‘zware’ eisen, dan is de GigaWorks T40 voor 149 euro het overwegen waard. Creative’s latest desktop computer speakers are tall and thin, leaving more room on your desk for the mess that naturally accumulates. They’re aimed at the high end of the budget market, with a list price of $149.99 USD (or around $120 at Amazon), putting them into the arena with beefier models like M-Audio’s Studiophile AV40. The Creative T40 speakers provide the most audiophile-like experience we have heard on a budget speaker system. The sound is neutral and not exaggerated like most of the PC speakers we have heard. While the speaker character may not be for everyone, we found them to be much less fatiguing to listen to for extended periods of time. For the price that I paid for these speakers, they have a very nice sound. The speakers fit on the desk very nicely. Some people complained about the blue light around the volume knob but, it doesn't bother me. If you want nice sounding speakers that fit on the desk, I would recommend these speakers. Very nice looking speakers. Easy to setup. I wasn't looking for a high end bass thumping set of speakers. Just to get some decent sound for my games. I found that the sound is great and play as described. I prefer them without the screen covers as the yellow speaker cones are nice to display. Given the size of woofers you can't expect too much bass. And Creative did replace my speakers during the warranty with no issues and the turn around was very quick. The replacement speakers I got don't seem to have any build quality issues at all. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- I have had these for over a year now and I am pleased with the highs this puts out.
- Bass is not that good (subjective) and is easily distorted.
Excellent sounding speakers!

I bought these speakers on recommendation from several magazine reviews and when I got them I was impressed at the sound quality and the bass that comes from only two speakers without a subwoofer. I use these with an older Dell XPS laptop and also with my iphone and I am just blown away at the sound from these. This was the best [$]dollars I spent and I have no regrets. I use the Gigaworks T40 speakers daily as monitors for my Korg R3 Synth. The sound is unmatched for the price. Super clear highs, some of the best midrange i have ever heard from computer speakers, and decent bass. I also use them with my computer and they sound just as great. Great for audiophiles who love rock, metal, and electronic, especially trance and club music. Note: they may strain and distort when listening to older recordings at max volume.
