Toon Alle 1 PrijzenAfter the incredible experience that was Persona 3 , I was more than a little surprised to see that Atlus was following up with a sequel so soon. Although I have nothing but the highest respect for the series, I have to admit that the critic in me was a little dubious that something of an equal or greater quality would be coming my way—after all, the gap of time between 2 and 3 was in the neighborhood of six years. Overall, Persona 4 feels very similar to its predecessor, but changes so many things that you can't at all say that it's Persona 3 with a new skin. The difficulty has been ramped up considerably what with all of the new game mechanics, but it offers the same solid RPG experience that we're starting to lose sight of in the days of current-gen graphics and flashy, convoluted sob stories of RPG narratives. In 2006, Atlus shocked the world with Persona 3. While the game's departure from its predecessors in terms of artistic direction, gameplay and music were unexpected, it was a title of the highest quality. A game that would soon become recognized, on both sides of the pond, as one of the more innovative titles in recent years. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
Perhaps the Playstation 2's last hurrah. Oh, but what a hurrah it is. In a genre that is often berated for stagnation, the Persona series has been a wonderful shot in the arm. The mixing of JRPG and dating-sim genres in the series, while at first seeming like an ill thought out experiment, works so well that one wonders why this isn’t more common. If you never played Persona before then you are about to enter an amazing franchise. The story line on this game was great, although if you have played Persona 3, you know which was obviously better. Persona 3 by a longshot! Persona 4 also has an anime , so thats a nice addition to the franchise. I have spent countless hours in the game myself, and I have completed it twice. Pick it up if you haven't! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
I played a lot of games in my videogamer career. GTAs,ZELDAs,RESIDENT EVILs,FALLOUTs,BALDURs GATES,BULLY,and lots of ShOOTERS too...I have to recommend this game to everyone because, you understand, is really better, not for graphics or sound or something in particular, but for the interest of the player that keeps growing during the entire "hundred hours" narration...IF you don't hate RPG, go buying this one, you won't regret Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Atlus’s decision to develop Persona 4 exclusively for the PS2 surprised some, as by the time of the games release in February 2009, the format was entering its ninth year on sale. Lower development costs and the huge established userbase suggested it made good business sense, but there were some pitfalls to overcome. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
