Transformers: War for Cybertron is a hard game to review. Looking at it through the lens of fond memories of days gone by, I find myself irrationally inclined to bestow it with a far higher mark than it realistically deserves. Divorced from the rosy-eyed filter of nostalgia, what we have here is a rather mediocre third person shooter full of bland, shiny robots that blend with and fail to stand out from their backgrounds rather than bland, military uniformed thugs who... If you have played the first LittleBigPlanet , you will notice definite changes all over the game. Everything you have created in the first game is transferred over. I was extremely happy to see my Sack person exactly as I had left him, and all my creations were in place. If you are a new player to the series, you will experience a new type of gaming that is just amazing. Even if you think that creating levels is too much, you don’t have to at all. Like many thirty-something American males today, I grew up loving absolutely everything about the Transformers. I'd trudge my way through the Bozo show just to watch a 15 minute segment of the original animated series. I'd ask for a Transformers toy at every occasion when a present was coming to me. They were without a doubt the coolest toys I'd ever seen, and the Transformers characters and lore absolutely captivated my young imagination like nothing else ever had. Cybertronier, eine außerirdische Spezies aus einer fernen Galaxie – uns bekannt als die ikonischen “Transformers”, die kolossalen Kampfroboter, die sich als Autos und Flugzeuge tarnen. Seit den Kinofilmen von Michael Bay sind die Charaktere der Achtziger Jahre auch heute wieder populär geworden und da war ein Videospiel um die formwandelnden Aliens eigentlich fast unvermeidbar.
