    While there's nothing wrong at all with this printer, for a few dollars more you can get Canon's Pixma iP4600, which offers the same high-quality printer but adds built-in duplex printing. But for under $100, this printer is truly excellent. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Having seen the other options that Canon has available for the home market, there is not much to distinguish the Canon PIXMA IP3600 overall from other models. Whilst the 17ppm printing in color does have its advantages for those of us looking at printing at large amount of photos, the other features of the unit make it a fairly standard offering.     Overall running costs are now roughly on a par with most other manufacturers, rather than offering a bargain. The iP3600 is no slouch although its print speed lags behind the more expensive iP4600. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    If Darth Vader was buying a photo printer, the £70 Canon Pixma iP3600 would be near the top of his shortlist. He'd certainly appreciate the acres of black shiny plastic: only the presence of some silver piping and rounded-off edges alleviate its monolithic air. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    The Canon PIXMA iP3600 is a good, general-purpose, home inkjet printer, with a strong line in photo printing and reasonable plain paper output, too. Running costs are no more than other machines in the same price range and the twin paper sources are an advantage if you want to load plain paper and photo blanks at the same time.     This is my second Canon printer, the previous (S800) lasted for about 10 years until I wore out the print-head. The ip-3600's internal construction does not appear to be as good as the S800; however it is easy to set up and get to work and it provides well balanced color prints immediately.     Item came in and within a week was printing crookedly. Canon is replacing under warranty. Was told this printer was sold 2 years ago. Having trouble networking to a master Window 7 environ from Vista, and my others in XP are still not talking to printer. Need to mention that in your sales literature.If I had known this, I would have bought a better model. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    Not sure where this company is getting the 17 ppm, but the ISO Standard Speed printed on the Cannon box says 7.3 ipm black, 5.5 ipm color - which is more inline with other printers in this price range. Good basic printer. 5 ink tanks are nice too - not common in printers this cheap. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
