While Lexmark printers have been criticised for poor performance in the past, a serious attempt has clearly been made with the Intuition S505 to make the quality of both text documents and colour photos much better, though speeds are still a little sluggish. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- Slightly tacky design; slow duplex function.

The S505 is good at all types of printing and very handy with both WiFi and double-sided printing. We still prefer the S605 with its touchscreen interface and programmable features, but this model will still have more than enough for a lot of people. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Lexmarkâ€™s Intuition S505 is almost a very good printer, but itâ€™s a bit slow and pricey. The duplex function is also disappointing. Wait for the Intuition S505 to fall close to the Â£100 mark and itâ€™ll be well worth snapping up. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

After two days and only 10 pages printed, this printer stopped printing color correctly. The black is ok, but the colors are all off. I did all the maintenance on it and still not right. I called customer service to find out what could be wrong and was told that since I did not buy an extended warranty they could not answer my questions. I used all the ink trying to fix it, so I ordered replacement cartridges. The XL ones. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Nooit komt er meer een Lexmark de deur binnen! Zeer slechte draadloze verbinding die steeds wegvalt en de kwaliteit laat echt te wensen over. Ok, de eerste fotoprint was geweldig.......de daarop volgende dieptriest. Om de haverklap de cartridges leeg, ze halen zeer zeker niet wat benoemd wordt qua aantal prints. I've had this printer for one year and have replaced it today. I had trouble printing to it from my laptop many times, which is frustrating - that's the whole reason I bought it. It also jammed quite a bit, especially when I was trying to print on labels. It's not worth the trouble. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Overall a good wireless printer for *nixers. Installer is available for Redhat and Debian based linux. Satisfied overall! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- Fast Printing High color accuracy (within reason for a basic multifunction) Cheap ink Wireless setup is trouble-free
- Printer sometimes comes up as 'not connected' under Ubuntu. However, it is connected, but i guess cupsd doesn't like wireless too much

Die meisten Linux-Benutzer kennen das Problem, dass es mit Treibern oft ein Problem ist. Bei diesem Lexmark muß man die Treiber von der Hersteller-Homepage laden, das Installationsskript starten und nach ca. 10 Minuten laufen Scanner, Drucker und auch WiFi ohne Probleme. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich bisher noch keinen derartig guten Linux-Support bei einem Multifunktionsgerät erlebt. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
