Huang Lee’s in for some serious trouble and you’re in for some serious fun. Get ready for some... BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA! Early in 2009, Grand Theft Auto fans and Nintendo haters alike cried themselves to sleep as Rockstar released an all-new GTA exclusively for the Nintendo DS. A GTA that returned to the top-down view of the original GTAs. A GTA that brought back everything fun about the GTA series that was cut from GTA4. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Last March, Rockstar Games gave Nintendo DS owners the chance to romp through Liberty City with . Despite disappointing sales, the game was a huge step forward for the series on portable systems. Not to leave PSP owners out in the cold, Rockstar of the game to PSP, both at retail and digital download. Did it survive the transition? Yes, for the most part. In the game, you play Huang Lee, a snot-nosed kid living the sweet life off his dad. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I was very excited to have access to yet another GTA title for my PSP. So excited, in fact, that I bought it the first weekend it was launched. Well, it took all of about 30 seconds to be disappointed... As is typical for GTA games, they have a back story to the game play. However, in this case, the story is told not through video (as with every other GTA title), but through still pictures with scrolling text. This was a bad sign from the start. Chinatown Wars is a victory for creative ingenuity and rational design. PSP predecessors Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories were superb games and impressive technical showcases, but in bearing significant similarities to their console counterparts, it could be argued that they weren’t distinctive in portable form. I really enjoy this game a lot and try to keep myself from playing it because I generally play the PSP on long trips. I am just having a lot of fun doing the side missions and online games to get extra cash but it can get to be a bit boring and feels like grinding after a while. The storyline is superb and a lot of fun. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    • New drug system makes it enjoyable to do side missions again.
    • Controls are wonky in the cars and hard to manage.

I am a fan of the GTA series and have all of the other ones for the PSP. I was expecting something similar in quality and game play. After starting the game, I could not believe how crappy it is. I felt like someone took the real game and replaced it with something from the '90s. They have changed everything that I like about the game. The overhead viewpoint is so far away you can't see what is going on. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
