The last time we looked at a Linksys router the company was still working on developing some proper software for the Mac. Thankfully, it now seems to have sorted out the Mac side of things, and the WRT320N Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router is supplied with a Setup program that runs on the Mac and allowed us to get the router up and running in a matter of minutes. Linksys n’est plus une marque à présenter, connue grâce à son routeur WRT54G qui permettait de pouvoir l’utilisé en tant que hotspot grâce à des solutions tel que chillispot ou openWRT. Cisco quant à lui est plus connu dans le domaine professionnel. Le but de Cisco lors du rachat de Linksys étant de se faire connaitre du grand public. Est-ce que ce WRT320N sera à la hauteur des attentes des fideles de la marque qui l’ont connu avec son WRT54G ? Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

I never gave the stock firmware a chance. Within minutes I flashed DD-WRT to the device. I normally prefer DD-WRT, but on this unit it was just too flaky. I finally took the plunge and flashed Tomato and so far the wireless has been rock steady for 18 hours. Definitely a keeper. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- Keeps dropping wireless with DD-WRT on 5GHz band that are only remedied by a power cycle, since this is not recommended by the manufacturer there are no deductions. An...

No wonder Cisco is in the toilet. With lousy hardware and lousy warranties, customers should beware buying from them. The first and only time I will buy from their company. Lousy customer support. Buyers beware! CISCO Linksys helpdesk states it’s in the U.S., but you get transfer to Manila! The Helpdesk employees have no knowledge of IT troubleshooting or Customer Service skills. Linksys products are normally very good, but if you have to talk to the Helpdesk, you will be wishing you brought that extended warranty from the store! Forget about honoring their 1yr warranty.
