    The CanoScan 8800F comes with both power and USB leads.  This model has recently taken over the desk space, normally the home of my CanoScan LiDE 90 unit, for the purpose of this review.  Decked out in matt silver and reflective black, the CanoScan 8800F has an attractive stylish, if solid, appearance with its bevelled edges.  The effect is diminished a little by the reflective black’s tendency to collect and display finger smears.     BUY THIS SCANNER!! I have this scanner about 3 years now and love it. creates PDF file and scans negatives, had some neg from 1959 I sanned them and came out perfect as photo's! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    vind het nu een zeer goede scanner,heb er nu veel plerzier vanalleen even een waarschuwing voor degene die een hp pc hebbeninstaleer NIET de softwere met de naam LASERSOFT SILVERFAST SEals je die instaleerd(zoals ik gedaan had)en opnieuw opstart,dan kom je nog tot het scherm met het logo van HP en verder kom je niet meer(HP is niet meer op te starten)als je dit toch wilt proberen,en het gaat mis,hier gelijk de oplossingverwijder alle kabels van achterzijde van de Lees Meer

    Very high quality scans, very easy to set up on Mac and windows. Variety of output file types, Excellent value for price. Con: I prefer to use other software for scanning which is not available (yet). Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

    I am your "Joe average" when it comes to computers. I found the Photo shop Elements 5, that Canon obliges me to use, difficult and time consuming to work with. Nor did I find any real benefit over the results I get from my simpler, faster, more intuitive Picasa programme. When I called Canon Technical for help I was simply told. " We do not support that programme". End of story ! Such inflexibility cannot be of benefit to the user. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
