The Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner does a great job at scanning photos and negatives. It comes with some good graphics-editing software, including Adobe Photoshop Elements and ABBY Fine Reader for OCR. The slide holder is on the flimsy side and the scanner has a pretty big footprint, but otherwise this is a good value for the money. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

The Epson Perfection V500 Photo - flatbed scanner was simple for me to install and I didn’t have to do much to get it going.The software was simple to use and I think that is the first for just about any software I ‘ve used. If you are remotely interested in photography then it is likely you will have a digital camera. However, if you have been in the game for a while, you may even have a album or two, or maybe even a shoebox with some real photographs. You remember, the ones that are paper, that you hold. It is a very dark grey in colour and has the power input and USB close together on the back and the on/off switch on the right side. Great Scanner, scans negitives from any camara, allowing you to print your pictures at home, makes old pictures look new with size variations, has picture backup also repairs cracks in pictures plus many other options. Scanner can be slow making it time consuming, this also depends on quility your looking to get, settings, size, well worth its price for the work it does. Epson takes their photography products very seriously, and this scanner is no exception. Epson has a full line of Perfection scanners. This model (V500) is somewhere in the middle between casual amateur and hardcore professional. I was searching for a slide-and-negative scanner, and had it narrowed down to the Wolverine F2D14 and this one. Both were good deals on Amazon, and both got high ratings from tech-savvy users. Not having to adjust the color of the lamp is a major advantage, and I'd assume LEDs last longer than fluorescents, though it doesn't matter because with scanners, the software usually fails to keep up with operating systems more than the hardware itself fails. As with most scanners you can't easily scan books because the physical scanner "margins" are too big. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
