The Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 is a sheet-fed scanner that can process multiple pages very quickly. Due to its upright design, the S1500 takes up less space on a desktop. Since its primary purpose is scanning documents, the S1500 has a relatively low scanning resolution (600 dpi), though that is typical in its class. If you need a combination of speed and quality, you will certainly like the ScanSnap S1500, which really does the job of scanning huge amounts of documents quickly. A compact sheetfed scanner, the ScanSnap S1500 is both quick and able to cope with a variety of documents from business cards upwards. It struggles with anything bigger than A4, but the bundled software makes it easy to both scan and convert documents to a variety of formats and then save, print, fax or email the results, as required. I love this scanner especially with having an account with Evernote. Like other reviewers, this scanner is very fast and accurate. I have my scans submitted directly to Evernote which will OCR them and be completely searchable - also all my docs are now available to me on my iPhone or iPad. Everything I was looking for and more. I got this and have used it for a few days. I scanned a bound document that was 55 pages with dog-eared pages and rough edges where the binding was and it jammed once, it paused, I fixed it and clicked continue and it finished. Really really awesome. I'm only days away from being completely paperless (except for like 6-7 docs that are in the safety deposit box). Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

Excellent product for the money. Does everything a small to medium office would want. Flexible file system, email compatible, scans to both pdf & jpeg. Highly recommend for the average "Joe" who doesn't want to put a lot of time into mastering the product, but wants a product that is easy to operate and does the job he needs. Another attorney in my office purchased an Epson scanner. Though it performs well, it is like the Scan Snap''s little brother. No comparison to the scan snap S1500. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
