The Plustek OpticBook 3600 can scan loose pages, including photos, but it does its best work with books. Special-purpose software takes some of the work out of scanning book pages, and the design effectively eliminates the shadow that typically shows up on the spine edge of a book page. - Offers special features for scanning pages from books. OCR is fully automatic and works well for scanning from both books and other sources.
- No ADF. Photo scanning lacks features like dust removal and color restoration. Photos aren't as sharp as they should be for the scan resolution.

Gewoon een hele goede boekscanner! We zijn er zeer te vreden over kunnen hem dus aan iedereen aanbevelen. Zeker in samenwerking met Kuzweil 3000 is het een must om deze scanner er bij te kopen Lees Meer
- + Je hebt hem zo aan het werk en hij doet het prima. Heel zuiver neemt hij alle info/boek over.

I have had this scanner for about a month now, and I have scanned over 40 books with it without a flaw. It is so easy to use and fast. All scanning is done after setup by pressing buttons on the scanner, so I don't have to use mouse or keyboard for scanning like I do with my Epson 1650. I can scan a 100 to 120-page book in about 15 to 20 minutes. It automatically turns even or odd pages 180 degrees with easy setup. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

This is a great low budget book scanner. Our company has used a lot of scanners and gone through all those scanners and the 3600 fits our needs for scanner many, MANY books. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

- Not a large book scanner, Not a LED scanner, Uses a cold cathode bulb

Ich habe meinen OpticBook 3600 Ende 2010 für 150 Euro (inkl. Porto) als Neugerät bei einem englischen Händler über die Auktionsplatform mit den vier Buchstaben gekauft. Das Stecker-Netzteil (15V, 1A) kam daher wenig überraschend mit einem englischen Stecker was hier in Deutschland einen zusätzlichen Adapter für ca. 5 Euro notwendig machte.
