Sony’s next-generation PSP Go which we review, finally fits in the pocket where it belongs, but the lack of UMD drive and higher price just don’t make it a solid buy. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
With its upcoming PSPgo, Sony is betting that you like “new and shiny” more than you like “money and savings.” Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

The PSP Go is a nice idea, but the flimsy build and high prices for its download-only games let it down. Moving to downloads only is a bold move, but games should at least be reduced to match their UMD cousins. Compared to the Nintendo DSi, the PSPgo is on a par, with games aimed at more hardcore users. However, if you want a PSP, we’d still recommend going for the older version. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
The PSP Go is a sleek and sexy redesign, but its high price tag and some frustrating caveats mean it's not a must-have upgrade for existing PSP owners--at least for now. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

* Battery Life: The PSPGo has a great battery life. I've never timed it, but outside one annoyance, I've never had it run out on me in between charges. The problem comes in the auto-on feature. If the screen is flipped up, even a small amount, the device will come out of sleep mode. I have a constant problem with the device turning itself on in my pocket and not noticing for hours until the battery is totally dead. I have yet to find a way to turn this feature off. Here's the deal, I had some money to spend in a handheld for my solitary lunchbreaks, so I started doing some research, at first I thought about buying the psp go, I'm 39 but I wantes to spend my time doing something entertaining and enjoyable, so psp games sounded great for that purpose. In my research I found 2 other handhelds in the same price range, an archos 5 and an ipod touch. both are 16 gb, play games and have built in wifi. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
This has got to be the best idea by Sony yet! The PSP GO does not have a UMD drive. It makes the system smaller, easier to put in your pocket, lighter and more battery time. The UMD media discs were always made from cheap plastic that breaks apart too easily... And if the discs gets scratched, your money went down the drain.. Sony fixed that by offering media downloads directly from the Sony PSN Store. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
the fact that you don't have to carry around any kind of disk is excellent, and the storage on it is good. The screen is a nice size and the console fits perfectly into your pocket to take around. Its pretty small. The games are pretty much as fun to play as on the PS3 (or PS2) but the older models of the PSP, like the 3000 and the 'slim and lite' where nicer to hold, but more bulky. The graphics are pretty good and so is the sound. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
