Leuk apparaat, goed geluid. Gebruik hem vooral voor klassieke muziek. Maar het eerste exemplaar dat ik mee kreeg van de leverancier stopte er na 5 minuten mee. Ik kreeg gelukkig direct een nieuwe van Correct, die het nog steeds doet. Lees Meer

I wasn't surprised by the natural sound coming from this receiver since I owned the previous version the RX-396 and was very happy with it. This unit comes with a "Pure Direct" switch that allows you to bypass the Bass & Treble filters which were missing on the previous unit. Still, the unit does not compare to older Yamaha receivers(1970-1980's) that came enclosed in real wood, with silky smooth controls, came with a silver plate face instead of boring black and had... If you like putting an old fashioned record (yes, they're called records, not 'vinyls'), donning the headphones and listening to pure music the way it was intended, buy this receiver. You won't regret it. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
- It may not sound like a "pro" in this day & age, but the simplicity of this receiver is a HUGE pro for me. Yamaha obviously still has a place in its heart for the old ...
- Could use one more input.

This receiver is used for FM radio and playing CD's via a CD changer and performs both functions well, with easy controls (other than a few of the b uttons being tiny). For around $200 I cannot imagine a better product. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
