    Consumer ratings for the Dyson DC23 TurbineHead Canister Vacuum are good -  not stellar - but typically greater than 4 stars out of 5 .  For a Dyson it is not too pricey (depending on where you purchase) and it is said to have strong suction, work well on bare floors & rugs, and to be aesthetically pleasing (a lot of folks mention this).   On the other hand it is not as effective as the Dyson DC23 Motorhead on carpet due to its air driven brushbar.     I waited till the house got real dirty, so that I could truly experience the cleansing that the DC23 would give my apartment. Now keep in mind I’ve used many handhelds (Black and Decker’s, Dirt Devils, etc..), robotic vacuums, uprights, and canisters over the years. Why you ask?     We have had a Dyson DC-07 Animal for several years and love it. As an upright, it was awkward to use to vacuum steps effectively. My wife found the upright cumbersome in tight areas. We chose to purchase the DC23 after reading many conflicting reviews of a number of canister vacuums. We went with our past experience and got the Dyson. My wife is extremely happy with it.     in een woord geweldig.dure aanschaf,maar wat een vershil, met andere stofzuigers. als je deze stofzuiger eenmaal hebt gebruikt,wil je nooit meer een andere.voor mij alleen nog dyson in het vervolg.als je ziet wat hij aan fijnstof opzuigt,(dat wat je niet ziet),sta je versteld.geluid is inderdaad wat harder,en hij is ook niet zo zwenkbaar als je zou willen,maar dat weegt niet op tegen de voordelen van het stofzuigen.heb 3 katten en 1 hond,dus veel stof en haar.heb hem nu...     I own an upright dyson and loved it for carpet but was bulky to use on hard floors. The canister it light weight and easy to maneuver. The animal version has the low profile hard floor attachment and that is the reason I bought the animal version. It works great on tile and hardwood floors and the low profile and swivel head allows you to get under furniture and cabinets and glide along walls. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
