Philips deserves congratulating for the quality of the sound on this TV, which is once again ahead of the rest. But LED backlighting is no magic bullet, as this PFL9704H proves. There’s no doubt that this set has astonishing contrast, thanks to the segmented LED backlighting. It’s also generously equipped with plenty of inputs, and rather than going for all out for slimness, there are decent speakers too. But the DLNA connectivity isn’t up to that much, and full net access is a gimmick that’s a little sluggish in our view. At £1,800, the 40PFL9704 represents a serious outlay in these days when you can pick up 42in Panasonic plasma screens for between £500 and £600. Technische Info: damit der Fernseher seine Bildstärken auch zur Geltung bringen kann, benötigt man (bei Kabelanschluß) einen Reciever mit HDMI-Kabel - Scart überträgt nur analog! Das Ambilight hält absolut was es verspricht! Das war eine gute Wahl! Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
