    Logitech has a wide variety of keyboard/mouse combos to choose from. They offer two Cordless Bluetooth versions and nine Cordless versions. Not long ago I looked at the MX 5000 Laser and Sheldog just took the diNovo Edge for a ride. Today we are going to have a close look at the LX 710 Cordless Desktop.     I have been using this mouse and keyboard combo for a couple of years now and have been very content. The battery life is good and the range works well. It is extremely hardy and gets hours of daily use, including use on a stairmaster for gaming or mp3 listening across the room.     Used this with my labtop to replace the keyboard and after 4 years I continue to use it with my computer. I really like the feel of the keyboard but I have gone and replaced the mouse for something more powerful.     I previously purchased this product for an older desktop computer and decided to get one for the new desktop just purchased and wanted one for it.     Save yourself the hassle and buy something new. NewEgg's suppliers are not doing decent quality control. I am going to keep these as 'parts' because it is not worth the hassle to return and pay a stocking fee. Highly disappointed and will probably never buy refurb from NE again. Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser

De Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser is een combinatie van een draadloos toetsenbord en een draadloze muis, die via RF-draadloze technologie verbinding kan maken met de computer. Deze combinatie werkt alleen op computers met Windows XP of Windows Vista. Het toetsenbord en de muis zijn uitgevoerd in zilver en zwart.

De Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser wordt van stroom voorzien door vier AA Alkaline-batterijen (twee voor het toetsenbord en twee voor de muis). Deze worden meegeleverd in het standaardpakket. Het levert een betrouwbare prestatie van 27 Mhz. In het pakket is ook een USB-mini-ontvanger inbegrepen.

Toetsenbord

Het toetsenbord van de Logit Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser is voorzien van zachte oppervlakken ter ondersteuning van de polsen en handpalmen. Daarnaast kun je de schuine stand van het toetsenbord aanpassen met de pootjes aan de onderzijde van het toetsenbord. Voor de stand kun je kiezen uit drie hoeken.

Naast de standaard alfanumerieke toetsen en document-, bewerk- en navigatieknoppen, heeft het toetsenbord van Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser ook speciale functietoetsen, die zich bovenaan het toetsenbord bevinden. Onder deze functietoetsen vind je knoppen om je browser te bedienen, multimediatoetsen, volumetoetsen en andere toetsen, waarvan je de functie zelf kunt bepalen. Ook is er een Start- en een DocFlip-toets.

Muis

Bij de Logitech Cordless Desktop LX710 Laser hoort een draadloze lasermuis met het door Logitech gepatenteerde Tilt Wheel plus Zoom. Met het muiswiel kun je zowel verticaal als horizontaal scrollen, in- en uitzoomen en een 100% beeld oproepen met de drie knoppen aan de linkerkant van de linkermuisknop. De functies van deze drie knoppen kun je zelf instellen. Je kunt ze andere functies geven, zoals het bedienen van multimedia. De muis is met rubber afgewerkt.
