   Microsoft has done it again, impressing us with its Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 Keyboard and Mouse Set. If this combo had some of the battery conserving features that we find essential in wireless keyboard and mouse combos, we would have ranked it higher in several areas.    Available for around £40 now (Microsoft’s estimated retail price is £60), this wireless keyboard and mouse set is good value and a high-quality offering. The Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 keyboard is well made, comfortable to type on and attractive. The large, rounded mouse is more a matter of personal taste (some will prefer a flatter shape) but still oozes quality. And everything works flawlessly. Recommended. Both components are surprisingly heavy, so don't buy these if you need something portable. But the weight gives them a solidity (and, in the case of the keyboard, good stability) that we appreciated.    Comfort-wise this is a great keyboard/mouse set. I loved it. Typing is easy, almost effortless. And then one day the USB transceiver died. You know when it's dead. It starts heating up when plugged in. So don't leave it in the USB port or it may break too. Too bad the transceiver is uniquely tied to the keyboard and mouse. You can't replace it.    This order was made to replace an existing one, same model. The mouse had died and would no longer scroll down, probably from being dropped on the floor. Overall very satisfied with the performance of both keyboard and mouse. Only "wish" was that the mouse didn't go thru batteries quite as quickly. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

   Overall, this is a really good keyboard and mouse combo. Both items feel like theyll last for a long time. The keyboard is too soft for me though, the F keys are tiny and you have to press them down too hard good for the office though since its quiet. The mouse is pretty huge, and its an oblong shape so it doesnt feel that great, but the Blue track works really well on any surface. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

   • Keys feel extremely soft, especially the F keys mouse is gigantic and not very ergonomical

   I amr eally struggling to see how Microsoft can market this keyboard and mouse combination as a comfort set. I have owned this desktop set for a little over 6 months now and regret buying it. As I am sure many people did, I purchased this set as I wanted interacting with the computer to not put strain on my wrists, hands, fingers etc... Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands

   • NOT comfortable, tiny shift key, no sleep function

   Microsoft, one of the most famous company; creater of the ever popular window os; also made some very good quality keyboartd and mouse.
