Compared to other top of the range binoculars, I would say that the Nikon EDG 10x42 binoculars are priced pretty well. If you take this into account with their excellent, class equalling but not class beating optical performance and their quality construction with all the features you would expect to find in high end optics, I would say that they make excellent value for money. I purchased this camera for my wife for excursions to the beach and state parks to view wildlife, boat, and aircraft. It is perfect for beach conditions as it is waterproof, and fog proof. It is light so we can take it on hikes with us. The 8x magnification is perfect for our use. We watched the deer at Robert Moses State Park, the seagulls and the merchant ships at the horizon. I finally broke down and bought myself a set of "expensive" binoculars for hunting. These are hands down the best binoculars I have ever owned! I did a lot of comparison shopping at the store by looking through a bunch of other binos side by side. I compared these with other bino in price ranges from $100-$500 and these beat all others hands down! You can immediately see the difference when you look through them. Vielleicht kommt dieses Fernglas nicht ganz an die aktuellen Spitzenmodelle von Zeiss, Leica und Swarovski heran, doch bietet es im Preis-Leistungverhältnis dennoch eine brillante, helle Optik mit der wohl (fast) jeder mehr als zufrieden sein sollte. always wanted a good pair of binoculars and i am very happy with these nikon binoculars. the color is vivid even in low light conditions and quick to get dialed in for any use. i will be passing along my old pair to someone. Lees Meer Translate to Nederlands
